Official Rules

World Cup Pick 'Em

2026 FIFA World Cup · Effective June 11, 2026

No Purchase Necessary. No Prize.

The Tally Pick 'Em is a free, skill-based prediction game offered for entertainment and bragging rights only. There is no entry fee, no cash prize, and no monetary value associated with any rank or award.

1. Eligibility

  • Must have a free Tally account at tallysports.app.
  • Must be at least 13 years of age.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts used to gain a competitive advantage may be disqualified.
  • Open worldwide. Void where prohibited.

2. How to Enter

  • Navigate to Pick 'Em from the app navigation.
  • Select a round and enter a predicted home score and away score for each match.
  • Press Save pick to confirm each prediction.
  • Predictions may be edited until the pick lock time for that match or round (see Section 4).
  • You are not required to enter every match. Unsubmitted matches score 0 points.

3. Scoring

Points are awarded per match once the official final score is confirmed. Scores from extra time and penalties count as the full-time result.

Exact Score

You predicted both the home and away goals exactly. This is the maximum award for any single match.

Correct Result

You predicted the correct outcome (home win, draw, or away win) but not the exact scoreline. Awarded only when Exact Score is not achieved.

Correct Team Goals

You predicted the correct number of goals for a specific team (home or away), even if the overall result or the other team's tally was wrong. Awarded per team. Stackable with the Correct Result bonus, but not with Exact Score.

Maximum possible points per match: 10 pts (Exact Score). Maximum without exact score: 8 pts (Correct Result + one team's goals correct).

4. Pick Lock Times

Picks for an individual match lock at the scheduled kickoff time for that match. Additionally, entire rounds have an earliest-entry date — you cannot submit picks for a round before it opens.

All times are based on official scheduled kickoff. Tally is not responsible for result disputes arising from match postponements or schedule changes.

5. Rounds and Leaderboards

  • Points are tracked both per round and cumulatively across all rounds.
  • Each round has its own leaderboard. The Cumulative leaderboard spans the entire tournament.
  • Rankings are visible in real time as games are scored.
  • Your rank is displayed as #X of Y participants.

6. Tiebreakers

If two or more participants have the same total points, the following tiebreakers apply in order:

  1. Most Exact Scores (10-point predictions) within the leaderboard scope.
  2. Most games with an exact result (i.e., most predictions entered for matches that have been played).
  3. If still tied, participants share the rank.

7. Disqualification

Tally reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: uses multiple accounts, tampers with the scoring system, exploits technical errors, or otherwise violates the spirit of the competition or the Terms of Service. Disqualification decisions are final.

8. Score Corrections

Pick 'Em scores are calculated automatically based on official match results. In the event of a score correction or data error, Tally will re-calculate affected entries as soon as practicable. Tally's determination of all scores and rankings is final.

9. No Prize

The Pick 'Em competition confers no monetary or tangible prize. Top performers earn a rank on the leaderboard and bragging rights within the Tally community. Nothing in these rules creates an obligation for Tally to award any prize or compensation.

10. Modifications

Tally reserves the right to modify these rules, scoring, or round structure at any time. Changes will be reflected in the updated rules. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
